TORNADO & CROTCHET

We are very excited about our new Black & White Ruffed Lemurs from Howletts Zoo in Kent. They are Mother Tornado and daughter Crotchet.

Native to the Island of Madagascar, this particular sub species of lemur holds the conservation status 'critically endangered'. They are currently 2 of only a handful of their kind on the Island and can seldom be seen anywhere else in the country.

All the team here at the Haven are looking forward to the arrival of the Lemurs, owner Don Walser says; "It's another exciting arrival for us at the Haven and we are looking forward to homing such an extremely rare and interesting pair of animals. I'm sure they will enjoy their new home as much as we'll enjoy caring for them!"
