At the Haven we care for two European Eagle Owl's, Hannah and Rocco.
Hannah came to us in 2005 from Grangewood Zoo in Derbyshire on its closure. She is a very large and impressive owl and she now shares an enclosure with Rocco. Rocco is a captive bred six year old male who becam aggressive towards his owner. He has been with us for over a year now and has settled in to his new surroundings and gets on well with Hannah.

European Eagle Owls are also known as Eurasian Eagle Owls.
