The Owl and Monkey Haven cares for many rare and fascinating species and we welcome school parties of all ages and abilities to join us for a fun, yet informative learning experience.
We believe it is our purpose to educate visitors about the animals' we care for increasing knowledge and understanding as to the issues facing these species and the reason for their presence at the Haven.
Our friendly experienced keepers will introduce you to the inhabitants on a personal guided tour ensuring your visit is a unique, memorable experience and most of all lots of fun!
'WISE OWL' LODGE
The Wise Owl Lodge is a fully resourced learning environment dedicated to informing visitors about primates and birds of prey from all over the World. We provide a range of interactive resources and educational activities to suit the age and requirements of the visiting schools.
The lodge is yours for the duration of your visit and pupils are welcome to store their belongings here whilst exploring the Haven.
THE PROGRAMME
School visits are tailored to suit the age range and requirements of the visiting pupils. We therefore ask for booking forms to be filled out prior to your visit highlighting the key learning objectives you would like us to focus on.

RISK ASSESSMENTS:
We very much welcome a pre-visit inspection by teachers so we can match our guidelines and tours to your needs. We are happy to provide you with a risk assessment for your records or you are welcome to conduct your own.
